Chana dhal is rich source of protein and zinc.
Chana dhal contains magnesium, potassium,calcium.

It helps in digestion.
Chana dhal in a form of sweet is much more healthier and tasty to have.
It's quite easier and simple to do.
Only trouble is it has to be stirred continuously with no gap to get the consistency.
Let's check out the ingredients with no wait.
Ingredients:
1 cup chana dhal
1/2 cup sugar ( brown sugar / jaggery )
1 1/2 cup milk
3-4 tablespoon ghee
Few cashews
1 teaspoon elachi powder
Procedure:
# Soak the chana dhal overnight.
# Take the dhal and wash it well and drain the water completely.
# Grind into fine paste.
# Now add 2-3 tablespoon ghee and add cashews.
# Roast the cashews till golden brown.
# Transfer it to a plate.
# In same kadai add few more ghee.
# Now add the grinded chana dhal paste and saute well as it may stick to the pan easily.
# Stir well till the raw smell goes.
# Now add the milk to it in portions and mix well.
# Mix it well without any lumps.
# Add the remaining milk and stir continuously.
# Saute well.
# Add sugar to it and mix well.
# Now stir it continuously without gap till it rolls out without sticking the pan.
# Add elachi powder and mix.
# The mixture is rolling out now add few more ghee and mix well.
# Once the mixture is fully rolled out into one without sticking the pan.
# The halwa is ready.
# Switch off the stove and add the roasted cashews.
# Chana dhal halwa is ready to serve.
# Yummy, tasty and healthy halwa with less ghee.
