Ingredients:
1 1/2 half cup of milk
1/2 tsp ghee
1/4 th cup of sugar
1/4 th cup of rava
1 or 2 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
Grease the cake tin with oil or ghee and set aside.
Caramel making:
1/4 th cup - sugar
Take a pan and add sugar heat it till all sugar melts and turn into honey colour..
Switch off the stove and immediately Pour the caramel into the cake tin..
Place kadai in stove and add milk ghee and sugar allow it to boil then add rava and mix well
Mix well till the rava is half cooked and it should be idli batter consistency then switch off the stove.
Meanwhile beat the egg nicely in a bowl
Add the rava mixture slowly into egg add in parts and mix them well, each time you add a part of rava mixture mix well.
Finally pour the batter in cake tin
Heat the idli cooker place a stand inside and pour some water into it, (water must touch the cake tin) place the cake tin inside close the tin with a lid and then close the idli cooker.
Steam cook it for 20-30 mins.
( check whether the batter is cooked by piercing it with a toothpick if the toothpick comes out easily the batter is fully cooked.)
Allow the cake tin to cool completely.
( Before you take the pudding out make sure it is fully cool down or else the pudding will break)
Keep the pudding in fridge for 5-10 mins
Serve chill and enjoy the pudding 😊
