Ingredients:
For cabbage rolls:
Cabbage - 2 cups
Carrot - 1/2 cup( optional)
Ginger & garlic ( chopped finely) - 1 teaspn
Salt - as required
Cornflour powder - 2 tablspn
Maida - 1 tablespoon
Chilli powder - as required
Take all these ingredients and mash well with your fingers add little water if needed ( mostly you won't need water as cabbage leaves water when salt added)
Then make small balls as shown in picture
Refrigerate it for about 15-20 mins
Deep fry these balls till it turns brown on all sides and keep aside
Manchurian preparation:
Fried cabbage rolls
Onion -1 finely chopped
Capsicum - 1 finely chopped
Ginger & garlic - 1 teaspn finely chopped
Tomato puree -1
Coriander leaves chopped ( garnish )
Salt - as required
Chilli - 1 or 2 ( don't cut)
Add oil to the pan add mustard seeds and add onion and chilli fry well till soft and then add capsicum and ginger and garlic saute all ingredients well..close the pan for 2 mins for the ingredients to cook then add tomato puree add salt and saute well..
Then add fried balls and mix gently..
Garnish with coriander leaves...
(*Actual procedure is to add soya sauce chilli sauce and tomato sauce as I give this to my kid I didn't add those instead added chilli and tomato puree..but the taste was awesome ) ( I hope preparing in healthier way is good)
